Student Representative
Student representatives play a vital role in shaping the Philosophy & Computer Science program. They serve as a bridge between students and faculty, ensuring that student perspectives are heard in decision-making processes. Each cohort has two representatives.
What Do Student Representatives Do?
- Advocacy & Representation: They communicate student concerns, feedback, and suggestions to faculty and program coordinators.
- Program Development: They contribute to discussions on curriculum improvements and study conditions.
- Student Support: They assist fellow students with academic or administrative questions and foster a sense of community.
- Event Organization: They help organize networking events, workshops, and social gatherings.
Election Process
Student representatives are elected during the general assembly at the beginning of the second term of study. This ensures that all students have had time to familiarize themselves with the program and its structure before taking on the role. Candidates must be formally proposed by their peers, but self-proposals are also possible. All students in the program are encouraged to participate in the election—whether by running for the position or casting their vote.
